mini-workshop: "Skeleton Key Memory Book"

A tiny book of favorite memories is attached to an antique skeleton key (each being one-of-a-kind), perfect with any décor and appropriate for displaying year round.  If you are looking to create something unique, a true conversation starter, this is it!  All materials are provided in the class with enough left over to complete a second book later should you choose.  We will use a mix of vintage materials and classic Jenni Bowlin Studio products.

Student Supplies:

Please bring the following items to class (if you have them – I have some of everything to share) –
Basic tools and adhesives (paper trimmer, scissors, craft knife, pencil, tape --runner, dry adhesive runner, Glossy Accents, etc.)
Sandpaper (or sanding tools)
Needle
Crop-o-dile tool (for punching holes in your book) or a tiny (1/8”) hole punch or awl
Your favorite permanent black pen
A ½” hole punch
Jewelry pliers  (for opening and closing jump rings)
Pinking shears
Red ink pad
If you would like to bring photos, size them to 1.75” wide by 2.5” tall with some cropping room.

mini-workshop: "Antique Album Page Screen"

I have collected antique photo albums for years.  I am drawn more to the ones falling away from their spines, with ornate pages just begging to be repurposed into something beautiful.  This double sided “screen” made from two such pages is the perfect project to highlight a favorite photo, accented by 3 additional collages that support the theme.  All materials are provided in the class including two antique album pages (like or similar to the ones shown in the project photo).  We will use a mix of vintage materials and classic Jenni Bowlin Studio products.

Student Supplies:

Please bring the following items to class (if you have them – I have some of everything to share) –

Various circle punches (1” – 2” sizes)
Pinking shears
If you would like to bring photos, size them to 1.75” wide by 2.5” tall with some cropping room (3 – 6 total so you can choose).  Please bring one 5 x 7 photo, with cropping room (important!  The opening is somewhere between 4 x 6 and 5 x 7 size), for front window.
