workshop: "BEAUTIFUL, COLORFUL JOURNEY"

We are going to have a  colorful, playful time creating  personal artwork that you will treasure. We'll be making unique books that you can use as a journal, or scrapbook, or even a piece of art if you choose. You may even choose to make it your inspired. Event keepsake book where you can take notes, journal, add photos and new friends' addresses etc.  We’ll start the day by making our own paper using guided steps in collage, watercoloring, acrylic paints, doodles, stamps, sewing etc. After these steps you will hopefully fall in love with some new mediums and new ideas to incorporate into your artwork or new ways of using those mediums. You'll never be afraid of the blank page again! Once we have created our one of a kind paper, we’ll use it to make our book covers.I will bring all my favorite creating  mediums so you can push yourself (or jump in if you need a starting place) to find new ideas within yourself and add depth to your existing techniques. We will touch on water colors, liquid acrylics, crayons, special pens, wax,  attachments, collage, etc. etc. You are sure to leave inspired!
