Sometimes there aren't enough words in the English language to adequately describe the love shared between mother and child. The push and pull as the parent child relationship matures, the fears, worries, joys and the celebrations. 

Art has always found ways and gifted me the expression I sometimes didn't even know I needed. I sat back from this piece and after a few moments of taking it in, tears welled up and a smile found my face. 

Sometimes the universe works through an artists hand and shares with them something that is so profound it takes a moment to take it in. 

If I was to share what it feels like to be a mother of young adults, navigating a maturing relationship...this painting is everything I would want to say.
