"The Seer That Refused Silence"
This piece was born out of exhaustion and clarity.
The seer stands watch in a landscape stripped bare. The trees are no longer alive with growth, but skeletal, reaching upward like witnesses to something that has already happened and something still unfolding. They hold memory. They hold consequence.
The numbers pressed across her forehead speak to calculation, control, and power reduced to cold data. Polls, votes, margins, statistics. Human lives flattened into arithmetic. The language of politics that pretends neutrality while deciding who is protected and who is expendable.
Her mouth is erased in red. Not because she has nothing to say, but because speaking truth has become dangerous, exhausting, and routinely dismissed. The red is not censorship alone. It is rage. It is warning. It is the line that keeps getting crossed.
One eye remains visible. Unflinching. This is the role of the seer. To look directly at what others deny. To recognize authoritarianism dressed up as patriotism. To see how fear is weaponized, how cruelty is normalized, how power is worshiped when it should be questioned.
This work is a response to living in a political climate where truth is distorted, empathy is mocked and a man like Trump can be elevated by spectacle instead of integrity. It reflects the grief of watching democracy strained by ego, lies and the relentless erosion of accountability.
And still, the seer watches.
Because silence is not neutrality.
Because seeing is an act of resistance.
Because refusing to look away is where power actually begins.
